Why don't they make it as big as the traffic circle instead???

Another possibility is that the TG in this picture is actually a dressed-up mannequin that stands there in just one pose 24 hrs a day. That would explain some of the issues mentioned above.

Look at this picture of a Traffic Lady in China - the safety platform has a built-in step, and an umbrella for shade and rain.

I posted photos of their shift change here

LOL - like a scarecrow? A scaretrafficgirl. Yes, I can see them putting scaretrafficgirls all over - that explains why there's no traffic, it's been scared away. Laughing

They really know how to treat their trafficgirls in China. I wonder if the DPRK bolcks information about this from reaching Pyongyang's trafficgirls?

eh.....I like the Korean TGs much better.

They need to have some leg showing and a narrower tie.

Sure they block it. They don't want them to see a traffic podium more advanced then Pyongyangs! North Korea has the bestest most superior traffic circles in the world don't cha know!

It least the Chinese ones are safer on a platform rather than flat in the middle of an intersection.

It looks like they are trying to come up with ways to keep them a little safer .....

The "Changing of the Traffic Guard" must be more difficult with those platforms. Do they have steps?

Look what I found - They pulled each other up, apparently.

These platforms are outdated - the PTGs are in older style uniforms.
